Shared Services

With the growth in the Business Process Out-source (BPO) market, M & P has set up a separate division to offer shared services to several clients. M & P currently provides support in the following areas:

Accounting services [both offline and online]:
M & P processes accounting data based on inputs from clients and maintains the basic accounting records and books required under Indian commercial and tax laws. The service includes compilation of financial statements, provision of accounting reports and MIS for use by the client.


Direct Taxes:
M & P undertakes the processing of individual income tax for employees on behalf of their employers / corporate bodies. This includes:

+ Computing the individual’s tax liability based on payroll inputs

+ Reconciling withholding tax with the tax liability

+ Assisting in the issue of withholding tax certificates

+ Assisting clients in verifying and validating “tax-proof” submitted by employees.


Indirect Taxes:
M & P assists its clients in assessing their indirect tax liability under various commercial and tax laws and maintaining suitable records for this purpose.


Statutory Records:
M & P maintains statutory records, typically required under various Indian Corporate Laws, on behalf of several clients.
